The Filipino Channel (TFC), the worldwide satellite arm of ABS-CBN Global, is to feature the Negros Forests and Ecological Foundation (NFEFI) and its work in helping to protect and conserve endangered wildlife and reforest large areas of the province.
An ABS-CBN crew flew into Bacolod from Manila on Monday to film the many rare and threatened animals at NFEI’s Center by the Provincial Lagoon. NFEFI vice president Teddyboy Infante and NFEFI curator Dr. Joanne Musto were also interviewed.
"NFEFI’s many projects will be featured in a series of new segments called ‘Good News Pilipinas’ which highlights the best of the Philippines", said ABS-CBN’s Erwin Ricamonte.
"These segments will be seen by millions of Filipinos throughout North America, Hawaii, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Asia Pacific and Japan."
The NFEFI segments are slated to be aired starting this July.*
