Glamorous movie and TV star Ana Roces brought a little showbiz glitz to the Negros Forests and Ecological Foundation's Biodiversity Conservation Center in Bacolod City when she visited over Christmas.
Ana is the daughter of Negrense Atty. Rene Adad, who is also a NFEFI sustaining member. She took the opportunity during her short Christmas trip to Negros, to show her animal-mad daughter, 5 year-old Carmela, the unique and rare local wildlife housed at NFEFI's Center.
Of special interest to mom and daughter were the newly-arrived litter of four piglets born last Monday to 8 year-old Visayan Warty Pig Sita. Their verdict "absolutely beautiful", they said
The NFEFI Center, located by the Provincial Lagoon, serves as a captive breeding and rescue station for many of the endemic and threatened animals and birds found in Negros and other parts of the Philippines.

Thanks for the information
I didn't even know this place (Negros Forests and Ecological Foundation's Biodiversity Conservation Center) existed. I think it would be worth visiting when I come to visit Bacolod soon! Thanks for the great information!
Keep up the good work
This is a great news to know about. I am very glad that there are many organizations like this totally serving for those poor animals that are in the verge of extinct and being rare. Animals are always adorable and cute at the same time they need our care. We all must do whatever we can to protect the animals. Love the work you are doing. Keep up the good work.
