Last week, NFEFI launched an urgent appeal for funds to enable it to continue its fight to protect and conserve the environment of Negros.
"We are most grateful Sen. Roxas for his help," said NFEFI vice president Teddyboy Infante. "We hope more concerned citizens will follow suit. They can become a sustaining member for only P1,000 a year or a friend for P3,000 a year."
"If members of the public would like to help they should call NFEFI on 034 433 9234 or emailnegrosforests@gmail.com.
"Or they can visit our Biodiversity Conservation Center by the Lagoon in the heart of Bacolod City. NFEFI's Website is www.negrosforests.org. Concerned citizens can now pay online using PayPal."
